This question might be strange to you but let me ask you, have you ever tried buying any smartphone online like from ebay, Amazon etc.
If you have been to one of the above top online cell phone shop you will might see three different price in one phone because you are likely to see difference price for new phones, used phone and Refurbished phone.
I am fully aware of the term New and Used but then i don’t fully understand what they mean by Refurbish but i did my little home work to fully understand the term refurbish when it come to cell phones.
Now that i know it i decided to explain and share to anyone asking question about what is a refurbished phone because i a simple answer to that question.
What is a Refurbished phone
Refurbished phones is that mobile phones which are returned to the original seller due to some detected faults and then it is taken back by seller or manufacturer to look into the faults and repair it again under full quality check with
best industrial standards and sold again but then these phones cannot be package like new ones but as a refurbished phone.
These refurbished phones still comes with warranty just like new one and being a refurbished phone doesn’t mean that the phone is not an original phone but because the phone has one time returned to the seller for many reasons and then repaired and sold again as a refurbished phone.
The different between used phone and refurbished phone
According to ebay, refurbished phones have often been used, the term “used” has a
more specific meaning. A used phone is sold as-is. It has not been
tested or fixed, and it does not come with a guarantee. It is of much
lower value than a refurbished phone, because no value has been added
back into it. A refurbished phone is different in that it has been
tested, repaired if necessary, and it has been cleaned. A refurbished
phone should function exactly like it did when it was new, and it should
come with a warranty just like a new phone.
