BlackBerry Priv Specs, Review and current price

BlackBerry Priv is a modern flip-up smartphone and I really admire it because of its features and awesome design, anything you need in a smartphone can be found in BlackBerry Priv Android smartphone.

Recently  BlackBerry lost many of their Nigeria customers following the news that BlackBerry smartphones will no longer be allowed to use Whatsapp but with BlackBerry Priv you don’t have any problem regarding WhatsApp as it uses Android operating system.

When BlackBerry Priv was announced and later released it was sold above N200,000 but now you can buy BlackBerry Priv below 100k.

BlackBerry Priv Review

Before the full specifications and price of BlackBerry Priv, i will like to explain more about the features of this smartphone and why I admire it.

Display

BlackBerry Priv is designed with 5.4 inches (~71.9% screen-to-body ratio), 1440 x 2560 pixels (~540 ppi pixel density) curved edge screen that makes more unique, brighter and attractive

Operating system

As i said earlier this smartphone uses Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), upgradable to Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and processor Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 which means despite being a Blackberry smartphone you are allowed to enjoy whatever other Android users enjoy as you already know that Android operating system (OS) is the most widely used OS in Nigeria and other parts of the world.

Memory

BlackBerry Priv comes with a 3GB random access memory and 32GB internal storage memory which makes it an idea if you are looking for a smartphone with great performance and stability.

Camera

All I can say about BlackBerry Priv is that this phone is all round good as it has a high-quality camera of about 18 MP, f/2.2, 27mm, Schneider-Kreuznach optics, OIS, phase detection autofocus and 2 MP, 720p front selfie camera.

From the camera features above I will say that this phone has more power when it comes to the main camera but the front camera is not actually good compared to the back main camera.

Battery

BlackBerry smartphones are best known for their weakness when it comes to the battery long lasting solution but BlackBerry priv is powered with a decent non-removable Li-Ion 3410 mAh battery which I am sure can give you more power to stay connected than expected.
