The Chinese tech giant recently launched an affordable smartphone called Huawei Y5 Lite featuring Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) 1GB RAM + 16GB ROM, 3020mAh, non-removable battery capacity and lots more.
First, the smartphone offers you some reasonable features that will surely please you starting from the display and design that gives you 5.45-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm dimension which is not bad at all.

Huawei Y5 Lite is currently available in Nigerian and other countries selling at the rate of ₦30,200 from Jumia
In some countries outside Nigeria the price will be around $100 – $120 but remember price are subjected to check any time
Design and Display
This phone is designed with a metal and plastic body with the usual bar shape that makes it looks awesome while making it easier to fit in your palms as it offers 70.9mm width, 146.5mm length.
Huawei Y5 Lite has its own single rear camera vertically aligned at he back of the phone alongside an LED flash and unfortunately i was expecting to see the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone but it doesn’t have such feature.
However, looking at the front design and display of Y5 lite has 1440 x 720 pixels resolution on a 5.45-inch LCD Display screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen to body ratio of 73.8% which provides a large bezels that holds the smartphone brand logo.
Huawei Y5 Lite Software and Hardware
The Y5 comes with latest Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition operating system clocked with a responsive Quad-core 1.5 GHz processor and MediaTek MT6739 chipset optimized for speed and stability.
In other words, we have manageable 1GB random access memory, and 16GB read-only memory which might not be as big as you wanted but considering the price, its still a good bargain.
However, the smartphone is not lacking in terms of battery is it comes with 3020 mAh battery capacity designed to keep you connected for a long time while surfing, watching your favorite videos and playing games.
In addition we have 8MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.2 that support PDAF facial recognition while the 5MP front selfie camera comes with aperture of f/2.8 but lacks flash.

Despite the price of Huawei Y5 Lite it still offer some great features like 4G LTE network that enables you to enjoy fastest data connectivity with single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) which means you can use two SIM cards.
