10 Most expensive phones in Nigeria 2021 updated list
While some are looking for the cheapest phones, others are looking for the most expensive phones in Nigeria either because they can afford them or for fun. I have taken my time to look into the Nigerian mobile market and I have found some high-end expensive smartphones that cost a lot of money to buy.
When it comes to the most expensive phones in Nigeria, Apple iPhones and Samsung are the kings of all the expensive phones in Nigeria. However, there are other brands that are still very good and at the same time expensive too. If you are ready to find the most expensive phone in Nigeria then keep reading till the end of this post.
I first published a post in February 2021 but since then we have had more recent smartphones that are even more expensive than most of the phones I listed below. However, I believe that the only way to keep this page updated is to add some of the recent expensive smartphones too to the list. While the 10 Most expensive phones in Nigeria remain untouched, I will add another 2 high-end smartphones by Apple and Samsung respectively.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
The latest trend these days is who owns the iPhone 13 and who can afford it because it’s really expensive and out of the reach of an average Nigerian. However, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is a new destination for most Nigerian celebrities and many others that are into the show biz.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max was released on 14th September 2021 and is undoubtedly one of the most expensive phones in Nigeria featuring 6.7 Inch Super Retina XDR OLED display along with ProMotion features. Other features include the latest Apple iOS 15 operating system along with Hexa-core processor and 5-core graphics GPU.
There are different variants in terms of storage memory which ranges between 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB but the processing RAM for all variants is is 6GB. iPhone 13 is a premium smartphone with outstanding specifications. The camera is superb, everything is just great but can you afford a smartphone of 1Million plus?

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
On my list of Most expensive phones in Nigeria, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the first but after Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold 3 which is even more expensive and that’s why I am adding it to this list today.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was released on 27th August 2021. Looking at the features, the phone is equipped with a 7.6 inches foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and flamed with aluminum.

Samsung and Apple have all the most expensive phones in Nigeria and if I continue with them, no other brand will be able to make the list of most expensive phones in Nigeria. However, I am going to add other special smartphones from other brands that don’t come cheap as well.

A few years ago, Nokia was the most popular smartphone brand in Nigeria dominating at least 50% make share until they sold the brand to Microsoft that brought the Nokia Lumia into existence but was acquired back after few years. However, to date, Nokia has been struggling to regain its position.
