Tecno Phantom X price in Nigeria (The Extraordinary)
I know you might have heard about the latest Tecno Phantom X smartphone with attractive designs and amazing features. I am going to show you few things you don’t know about the smartphone and why it was tagged the extraordinary.
However, from what I have seen, the Tecno Phantom X might not be the king when it comes to the features but definitely, the design is incomparable and awesome. The curved edge glass screen and overall design makes the difference. The new Phantom X is best alternative to the Nokia Edge that we all craved for but it never appeared in Nigeria.
Tecno came up with a similar design as seen on Nokia Edge and if you are among those looking for Nokia edge then we have the alternative now in Nigeria (Tecno Phantom X). A few days ago Tecno officially unveiled their now super smartphone in Lagos Nigeria which was attended by most popular celebrities and well known personals like Linda Ikeji, Omotola Jalade, 2Face Innocent Idibia, Dbanj and many others and coordinated by Frank Edoho, the presenter of MTN who wants to be a millionaire.
You must be eager to know the Tecno Phantom X price in Nigeria right now but don’t be too fast I will tell you more about this phone and not just the price.
You can watch the events below to know more about the new Techno extraordinary smartphone if you have enough data if not read on as I share more details about Phantom X.
Tecno Phantom X as compared to other latest Tecno phones
Comparing this phone with other Tecno phones is very important because the price is on the high side compared to others but I will tell you why the phone is a bit expensive later.
What attracts me most about this phone is the design but the features are awesome as well. However, I have checked other latest Tecno phones especially the Tecno Camon 17 Pro and I have seen that they both offer the same 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM which shows that phontom x is not any better when compared to the Camon 17 pro memory.
However, the battery is not equally better than what we have on the Camon 17 Pro with 5000 mAh battery capacity as opposed to the 4700 mAh battery that Phantom X offers. Though, Phantom X will obviously charge faster than Camon 17 because it has 33W fast charging while Camon 17 Pro has 25W fast changing feature.
Looking at the screen size, Camon 17 is an inch bigger with 6.8 inches as compared to the Phontom X 6.7 inches display. Moreover, you wont notice any difference in terms of the size. The overall display quality of of Tecno Phantom X is far better than the Tecno Camon 17 Pro.
Phatom X has super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate while Camon 17 Pro comes with IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. AMOLED display are far better, stronger and delivers the best visual quality as compared to IPS LCD display. However, the AMOLED display is also more expensive compared to an IPS display, have your asked yourself why Smasung smartphones screens are too expensive, it because they are mostly built with an AMOLED screen display.
When it comes to the camera they both offers a high-quality comera but Phantom X is better with 50MP + 13MP + 8MP triple camera along with 48MP + 8MP dual front camera as opposed to 64M + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP Quad rear camera and single 48MP front camera that Camon 17 Pro offers.
Lastly, there is no much different when it comes to the operating system and processor as they are both equipped with Android 11, HIOS 7.6 operating system along with Mediatek Helio G95 gaming chipset and the same graphics processing unit (GPU) Mali-G76 MC4
Tecno Phantom X price in Nigeria
I promised to explain why the new Phantom X is expensive as compared to other Tecno phones but the answer is simple, Tecno has done something extraordinary. A smartphone with quality curved screen will surely be expensive, the overall design is top-notch and built to stand the test of time.
Presently Tecno Phantom X is about N228,000 while Tecno Camon 17 Pro is below N130,000 butI am sure that after the first rush, the phone will fall Below N180,000.
Tecno Phantom X Review
The Phantom X is a significantly improved version of the Tecno Camon 17 Pro, which we previously reviewed. The Phantom has an AMOLED display in place of the LCD and a more capable camera arrangement, although both devices are powered by the same MediaTek G95 processor.
But don’t assess it purely on the basis of the chipset. The Phantom X comes with high-end features that add to the device’s worth. The 50MP main sensor is the most prominent feature, which is complemented by a dedicated 13MP telephoto camera (2x zoom) and an 8MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. The selfie side hasn’t been ignored either, with a gigantic 48MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide selfie camera housed in the fairly large punch-hole on the front.
Aside from the cameras, the gadget boasts a large, curved 6.7-inch OLED display. It has a 90Hz refresh rate and covers the entire DCI-P3 color gamut. Underneath that, of course, is an optical fingerprint reader.
A full-fledged dual SIM + microSD card slot, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom, are all significant features. 33W rapid charging should offer a 70 percent charge to the 4,700 mAh battery in 30 minutes. Finally, the Phantom X has a well-rounded premium-looking design that includes a patterned glass back, Gorilla Glass 5 on the front, and an aluminum frame. It’s a unique combination of luxury features with a mid-range SoC that could steal some customers away from the big-named manufacturers.
The device is packaged in a large black box with a 33W charger, USB-A to USB-C cable for data transfer and charging, a protective case, and a pair of 3.5mm headphones.
