Good news to Tecno spark series lovers, as they Launch Tecno Spark 8, a successor to the Spark 7. However, the features don’t really indicate an upgrade in features when compared to Spark 7.

The current information indicates that the new Tecno Spark 8 has 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 5000 mAh battery capacity. I will be comparing the features of Spark 8 and Spark 7 below but for now, let me share more info about the new Tecno Spark 8.

Tecno Mobile’s most recent smartphone launch took place in Nigeria, unveiling the Spark 8. The Spark 8 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with HD+ quality and a waterdrop notch for the 8-megapixel front camera.

A 16MP primary camera and a QVGA secondary lens, as well as the LED flash module and fingerprint scanner, are housed in a massive square cutout on the rear.

Under the hood, there’s a MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. On top of the Android 11 Go edition, the phone runs Tecno’s HiOS 7.6. The smartphone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, which charges 10W over the obsolete MicroUSB interface.

The Tecno Spark 8 is now available for the purchase less than four months after its predecessor, the Tecno Spark 7. Although it lacks the anticipated bells and whistles, the smartphone features a redesigned look and improved specifications.
