Tecno mobile has finally announced released their first 5G enabled smartphone (Tecno Pova 5G), and this time, the Tecno Pova series because one of the first Tecno smartphones with 5G network support. Tecno Pova series has been known for its strong battery and other amazing features, but this time it’s not just about the big battery but also supports the fastest 5G network connection.
Though the 5G network has not been fully implemented in Nigeria, it will be implemented in no time as they are still in the process. However, the Tecno Pova 5G has other cool features that you might be interested to know. Tecno Pova 5G is just the 3rd model of the phone, the first one was Tecno Pova, Pova 2, and now Tecno pova 5G.
What you should know about Tecno Pova 5G
We may be nearing the end of 2021, but Tecno hasn’t stopped announcing new phones, the most recent is the Pova 5G. It has a big 6.9-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Dimesnity 900 5G chipset, and a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The phone runs Tecno’s own HiOS 8 operating system, based on Android 11.
A 50MP primary camera is accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor on the rear, with a dual-textured design. There’s a 16MP selfie camera with a dual-LED flash in the punch hole cutout on display. The Pova 5G also supports a fingerprint scanner on the side, a headphone jack, and a USB-C connector.
The Tecno Pova 5G comes in a single Aether Black color and has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded through a microSD card. The price and availability of the phone are yet to be determined.
