They are Breaking down all productivity barriers by making mobile devices an extension of computers in every way by turning them into second displays and making them essential accessories for expanding the notion of multitasking and making them a vital part of the multitasking experience.
Lenovo has released three new laptops: the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon, the world’s lightest laptop with an OLED display; the Yoga Slim 7 Pro, one of the first high-end laptops to run Windows 11 right out of the box; and the IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook, a Chrome OS 2-in-1 laptop with a detachable design.
1. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon
With a body less than 1.5 cm thick, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon ultrabook weighs less than 1.1 kilograms. The Ryzen 5 5600U and Ryzen 7 5800U CPUs, with 8 or 16 GB of RAM and a PCIe SSD in a 512GB M.2 slot or 1 TB of internal storage, are the only ones available on the market. It has an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 with 2GB of dedicated RAM and an integrated Radeon on the GPU side of things.
Using the internal 61Whr battery for 14 and a half hours is more expensive than the Rapid Charge Express, which provides three hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging time. A MIL-STD 810H-certified body is housed inside a system controlled by artificial intelligence algorithms to maximize airflow while reducing noise from active cooling systems. The Yoga Slim 7 Carbon is also available in Cloud Gray and has a Dolby Atmos-optimized sound system.
Samsung’s 14-inch OLED display with thin bezels and support for Quad HD+ resolution is unquestionably the device’s best feature (2880×1800 pixels). DCI-P3 gamut triangle is covered in total, with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz possible. Delta E of less than two should be guaranteed by the factory calibration process to which all units are subjected, which declares a maximum luminance of 400 nits (600 nits peak). Gorilla Glass makes it possible to remove the touch screen.
The addition of Microsoft Teams and new UI elements in Windows 11 further enhances the laptop’s productivity for both professionals and students. With the Alexa Show mode, the laptop can be transformed into a smart device from the get-go, allowing you to control it with voice commands. Windows Hello and Lenovo Smart Assist, and Lenovo Smart Privacy Services, which enable you to tailor the user’s online privacy settings completely, are incorporated into the device.
Prices start at $ 1,289.99 in the US. It might be more or less in other regions.

There’s little doubt that the IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook is aimed at a different audience than the two computers previously discussed. The operating system is ChromeOS, and it can run Google Play applications, but it has a 13.3-inch OLED screen with 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage as one of its more unusual characteristics. Powered by a 42Whr battery, it has a 15-hour battery life and all the features of Google Assistant. Additional functionality can be gained by using a keyboard cover and stylus.
The Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 platform is housed under the hood, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC SSD storage. With a thickness of 7.2 mm and a weight of 700 grams for the tablet module alone, the device’s back comes in two color options: Storm Gray or Abyss Blue.
