You may not realize it, but the ability to capture a screenshot is one of the most popular capabilities of a smartphone. For a variety of reasons, these screenshots have evolved throughout time. Taking a screenshot has become more complicated due to buttons’ inclusion (or removal) and new software functionalities.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the same advantage over the competition. It’s possible to take a screenshot even if the screen is so large and the design so beautiful. Snap a closer look at the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and see how to take a screenshot.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 may be used to take a screenshot: Buttons may be used for this purpose.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2’s physical buttons are the most prevalent means of snapping a screenshot. Take a screenshot by following these steps:
At the same moment, press the power button and the volume down button.
Please don’t hold down any button while pressing the two together. The shutdown menu will appear if you keep the power button pressed for an excessive amount of time. Muting your device’s audio is as simple as holding down the volume down button while doing so.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 may be used to take a screenshot: Swipe your phone’s screen.
Another method of taking a screenshot, exclusive to Samsung devices, involves swiping down from the top of the screen. However, this swiping motion isn’t enabled by default; you have to turn it on yourself. In order to use this feature, you must first turn it on in the Settings app.
On your Samsung Z Fold 2, go to the Settings app.
Go to the bottom and choose Advanced Options.
Move your finger in the direction of the screen to make a tap.
On/off switch for palm swipe capturing.
Uninstall and reinstall the Settings application.
You may just use the palm motion to snap a screenshot from now on. Slide your hand from right to left across the screen using the palm of your hand as a guide. In the bottom left-hand corner, a screenshot preview will emerge after a brief display of the current screen. As a reminder, if your keyboard is turned on, this motion will not be possible.
Take a picture of Google Assistant on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Google Assistant may be the greatest and most powerful speech assistant. One of Google’s biggest selling points, though, is that the Assistant is accessible on almost any Android phone, not just Pixel models. Additional to this, Google has added the ability to snap a screenshot using a new voice command that has been implemented.
The Google Assistant may be accessed by swiping up from the bottom right corner of the screen and pressing the center button.
“Take a screenshot.”
Once the instruction is understood, Google Assistant will react to let you know. After that, the screen will flash and a preview of the snapshot will appear. It’s interesting to see how Google Assistant handles sharing. Assistant opens the system-wide Share Sheet, rather than showing a toolbar at the bottom. Quick access to your most frequently used contacts and applications makes it easy to submit a screenshot to Drive or Dropbox and share it with others.
On the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Bixby comes to the rescue when you need to take a screenshot
As a voice-activated personal assistant, Bixby is Samsung’s answer to Siri. That Bixby can’t compete with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant is disheartening. Samsung, on the other hand, is working to improve Bixby and make it more accessible to users.
You must first set up Bixby in order to proceed. Open the Bixby app and follow the on-screen instructions to do this.
Here’s how to snap a screenshot with Bixby once you’ve set it up.
It is time to unlock the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Greetings, Bixby.
Keep an eye out for the Bixby overlay with the symbol on top to emerge.
“Take a screenshot.”
You may also ask Bixby to capture a screenshot using a different technique. You may activate Bixby without using your voice by selecting one of the following options in Bixby settings:
Do this twice with the side (power) button.
Press and hold the power button on the right side of the device.
You’ll notice the overlay appear on your screen if you use one of these methods. Take a screenshot simply saying “Take a screenshot” as soon as the Bixby logo comes on top.
It’s then possible to share, modify, or save your screenshot using the popup toolbar that appears.
