Tecno Mobile, a Transsion Holdings subsidiary, said last week that it planned a worldwide launch event for the Camon 19 series in New York City’s Rockefeller Center. Following a schedule, Tecno’s Camon 19 series has been unveiled to the world. The Camon 19 Pro 5G, the Camon 19 Pro, the Camon 19 Neo, and the vanilla Camon 19 are all part of the series.
A look on Tecno Camon 19 Pro and Camon 19 Pro 5G
The 64MP RGBW sensor of the Camon 19 Pro 5G sets it apart from the rest of the field. This is the first time Samsung has built a sensor for a smartphone. In addition, the “industry’s thinnest bezel” is supposed to be packed inside the gadget with a thickness of just 0.98 mm.
The Camon 19 Pro 5G features a 6.8-inch LCD screen capable of a refresh rate of 120 hertz and has a Full High Definition Plus resolution of 2460 by 1080 pixels. A MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset combined with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU serves as the power source for the 5G variant. The chipset works in tandem with 8 gigabytes of LPDDR4x RAM. Storage capacities of 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2 are accessible on the smartphone.
A diamond coating on the back panel represents a starry sky with 200 million stars. An anti-fingerprint coating has been applied to the surface, which is gentle to the touch. An RGBW + (G + P) Lens camera co-developed by Samsung is housed on the back panel for photography. The crystal glass lens used in G+P technology replaces the plastic lenses, increasing light intake by almost 208%. A 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP AI camera are also included. There is a 16MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.
Helio G96 chipset and similar RAM configuration as 5G Camon 19 Pro are found in non-5G variant. While the 4G variant has a 64MP rear-facing camera with OIS, it lacks the RGBW camera. There is a 50MP wide-angle camera with 2x optical zoom and a 2MP portrait lens working with the primary camera.
Android 12 with XOS is the operating system for both devices. Both have a 5000mAh battery with a 33W rapid charge. There is a fingerprint sensor on the side of each model.

A look on Tecno Camon 19
The vanilla Camon 19 has a 6.8-inch LCD screen with a 2460 x 1080 pixel resolution. It uses a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU from MediaTek Helio G85 CPU for graphics. The CPU is combined with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, as well as 128GB of internal storage. MicroSD cards may be used to enhance the storage capacity of the device.
The Camon 19 has a triple-camera configuration that includes a 64MP primary camera, an AI-powered 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP AI camera. The flash on the camera is a Quad-LED flash. There is a 16MP camera for taking selfies on the front of the phone.
Like the Pro variants, the Camon 19 comes with a 5,000mAh battery, although it only supports 18W fast charging on the vanilla model. Tecno’s XOS overlay is compatible with Android 12 and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are included in the package.
Availability & Price
The 8GB+256GB Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G model begins at $320. Eco Black and Cedar Green color choices will be offered for the model. There are three color options for the 4G Camon 19 Pro: Polar Blue, Eco Black, and Mondrian. The 8GB+256GB model costs $280.
Its Eco Black, Sea Salt White, and Digital Green color options are for the vanilla Camon 19, while the Camon 19 Neo is available in Eco Black, Ice Mirror, and Dreamland Green.
First, the models will be available in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast and South Asia this month.
