Firstly Infinix didn’t release only the Hot 30 it comes with other variants such as Infinix Hot 30i and Infinix Hot 30 Play. However, I am going to review them as well but on this page, we are going to focus on Infinix Hot 30, though I will briefly compare both of them for you to know their differences and similarities.

Infinix Hot 30 Specs Overview

I am going to compare different models of the Infinix Hot 30 below but before then let’s take a close look at the features of the Hot 30 and see what it offers. First, Infinix Hot 30 has a screen size of 6.78 inches FHD+ display with a 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2460 with 168.66×76.61×8.4mm dimensions.

The weight is about 196g, and the peak brightness is 500nit(min) with a refresh rate of 90Hz and up to 270Hz touch sampling rate, all in an IPS LTPS screen.

However, the phone is built on the latest Android 13 operating system powered by MediaTek G88 processor and runs on a 2.0GHz Octa-core processor. Having the latest Os and fast processor is not just enough without enough memory Size, thanks to the onboard 8GB random access memory and 256GB internal storage memory, big enough to house all your music, videos and other personal files.

I have already explained that Infinix Hot 30 come with other versions like Infinix Hot 30i and Infinix Hot 30 Play. Now we are going to see how both phones relate together by looking at the features and functionalities.

Display, Design & Size

Both phones don’t look so different in terms of design but with different sizes, Infinix Hot 30 Play is the biggest with 6.82 inches screen display followed by the Hot 30 with a 6.78-inch display and then with the smaller one Infinix Hot 30i with a 6.6-inch HD+ display.

If the display size matters to you so much then you have the option to go for the one with your desired screen size. However, those who like it big should go for an Infinix Hot 30 and Hot 30i.

Operating System & Processor

Looking at the operating system and processor, Infinix Hot 30 is the superpower compared to other variants, it comes with Android 13 OS together with MediaTek G88 chipset and up to 2.0GHz Octa-core processor. The Hot 30 Play comes with Android 13 OS, MediaTek Helio G37 and as well with up to 2.0GHz Octa-core processor.

On the other hand, Infinix Hot 30i is equipped with Unisoc T606 Chipset powered by up to 1.6GHz Octa-core Processor and built on Android 12 OS. Based on the above features, Infinix Hot 30 is better in terms of operating system and processor.

Memory Size

Infinix Hot 30 has the biggest memory Size of about 8GB RAM that can be extended to 16GB with the help of memory fusion features. It also has 256GB internal storage memory that can be extended up to 1TB using an SD card. However, Infinix Hot 30i and Hot 30 Play offers 4GB RAM that can as well be extended to 8GB RAM with built-in storage memory between 64GB to 128 GB.

Overall, they are both great in terms of memory size but if you want the best then go for Hot 30 that is if you care much about memory Size.

Camera Configurations & Quality

Infinix Hot 30 has an edge over other versions as it offers a high-quality dual 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, while the Hot 30i offers a dual 13 Al camera and 8MP front camera. Infinix Hot 30 Play offers a dual 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera

Infinix Hot series is not known for the best quality camera but in this one, they tried with the Hot 30 which has much power in the back camera compared to other variants. The second best is Hot 30 Play with 16MP real camera compared to Hot 30i with a 13MP camera.

Battery Capacity

Infinix Hot 30 Play is the king when it comes to battery, it has a 6000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging capability. Apart from the big battery Infinix Hot 30 has a 5000 mAh battery and offers better fast charging as it supports up to 33W while the Hot 30i offers the same 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The good news is that both models of the phone have Type-C charging port which is the modern charging port that will give you peace of mind. No need to worry about charging port problems because type-c doesn’t get damaged easily.
