A few days ago we discussed Tecno Spark 10 Pro and today we will take a closer look at Tecno Spark 10 5G smartphone. It may surprise you that Spark 10 Series has up to 4 different models.

Tecno Spark 10 Series and Prices

As said earlier, there are different models of Spark 10 and their prices are not the same. the most expensive models are the Spark 10 5G and 10 Pro models. Below are the estimated prices which I got from Tecno’s official shop on Jumia Nigeria

I will be sharing more info about the Tecno Spark 10 Series, what differentiates each model and their similarities but before then let’s talk about the Spark 10 5G. The new Spark 10 with fifth-generation network (5G) support comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

it’s also built on the Android 13 operating system together with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 Chipset and runs on an Octa-core processor. The phone offers a dual rear camera setup which comprised 50MP (wide) + 0.08 MP (depth) camera. At the front, it has 8MP front camera with dual LED flash.

Tecno Spark 10 5G is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with an 18W fast charging feature and comes with Type-C charging port, the fingerprint sensor is located by the side of the phone and not the usual back side.

As the memory, the phone offers 8GB RAM + 128/256GB ROM. However, you can extend the RAM memory up to 16GB with the help of memory fusion features which means more power.

Display & Design

Tecno Spark 10 5G has a different design entirely while other models look the same. However, when it comes to size, Spark 10 Pro is the biggest with a 6.8 FHD display while both Spark 10 5G, Spark 10 and Spark 10C have a 6.6-inch display. All the models support a 90Hz screen refresh rate, though none of them support AMOLED display.

They both come with a nice design but when it comes to the size, Tecno Spark 10 Pro is bigger and better for those who look it big, but remember it doesn’t have a 5G network, which is the only advantage the 5G model has over the other models.

OS & Processor

Tecno Spark 10 5G is built on Android 13 together with Tecno HIOS 12.6 Skin and MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset + Octa-core processor. The Spark 10 Pro also comes with a good MediaTek Helio G88 gaming processor. Spark 10 model came with MediaTek Helio G37 and is well built on Android 13 OS.

It’s clear that Spark 10 5G and Spark 10 Pro has the most enhanced and advanced processor and should be your choice if you care more about performance and stability. However, they are also more expensive compared to Spark 10 and Spark 10C.

Memory Size

The Tecno Spark 10 5G and the Pro variants offer more in terms of memory. They both offer 256GB internal storage memory and 8GB RAM that can be extended to 16GB with the help of the Memory fusion feature. On the other hand, Spark 10 and the Spark 10C offer 128GB storage memory and 8GB RAM that can be extended to 16GB with memory fusion.

Looking at the details above, both phones offer 8+8GB Ram and good storage memory between 128GB to 256GB which is big enough to house your music, videos, games and other files. However, the best option is Spark 10 5G and Spark 10 Pro with bigger memory.

Camera

Tecno Spark 10 Pro is the best option if you care much about the camera as it offers dual rear cameras 50MP + 0.08MP + 32MP front selfie camera. However, Tecno Spark 10 5G and Spark 10 offer the same 50MP + 0.08MP rear camera but falls Short in the selfie camera as they both have 8MP front camera lower than 32MP front camera that the Pro variant offers.

As for the Spark 10C, you can see this model as the lower version of the Spark 10 Series as it comes 16MP + 0.08MP dual rear camera and 8MP front camera. However, Spark 10 Pro has a better selfie camera than any other model.

Battery

The 4 models of the Spark 10 Series are powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging feature, battery should be something to be worried about when making a choice on which model to buy because they have the same capacity and features.

My thoughts on the Spark 10 Series

If you browse a lot or download and upload files online then I can tell you that having a 5G enabled smartphone in a 5G network area superspeeds every other feature that the Pro version of this phone offers but if you don’t care much about fast internet connectivity then you can go for the Pro of you can afford it.

The design of Tecno Spark 10 5G is also unique compared to others when you look at the back of the phone, while other models look the same. Moreover, the Spark 10 Series phones have all the basic features and more and you should be okay with any model of your choice.
